Eyecrafters Optical accepts FSA/HSA dollars for all prescription eyewear purchases (this includes prescription sunglasses and contact lenses!) and eye exams, as long as your FSA or HSA (health savings account) card is affiliated with a MasterCard, Visa, or AMEX.

If you would like to use your FSA or HSA card to pay for a portion of your purchase and apply the remaining balance to a different card, please call us at 718-858-5770, Monday–Friday, 8am – 8pm EST or Saturday-Sunday 9am – 6pm EST. We’re always happy to help you.

If I’m using my FSA to purchase prescription eyewear, do I need to do anything special when I order?

All you need is an up-to-date prescription and your pupillary distance (PD). If you don’t have your PD, you can measure it yourself here.

My FSA funds expire at the end of the year. When should I place my order?

Place your order online by 11:59 p.m. EST, December 30, by phone (call 718-858-5770), or in our retail locations by 2:00 p.m. ET on December 31, and you’ll be charged by the end-of-year cutoff. Don’t forget your prescription!

Can I buy prescription sunglasses with my FSA/HSA?

My prescription has expired or I need an eye exam, now what?

That’s easy! Schedule an eye exam at your nearest location, you can even use your FSA dollars.
